FSCA warns the public against a fraudulent e-mail purporting to be from the FSCA

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) warns the public against a fraudulent and malicious entity or individual(s) impersonating the FSCA.

The individual(s) or entity in question are believed to be using the email address: They target unsuspecting members of the public by sending them emails stating that there is an unclaimed benefit due to them and that they should respond otherwise the funds will be forfeited to the state.

The FSCA does not have any affiliation with the individual(s) or entity and the email address and will not contact individuals about unclaimed benefits if the individuals have not lodged an unclaimed benefit query with the FSCA.
